Re: Texas Southern @ Oregon
I know that was a joke, but OSU has more talent then we do. I thought this was going to be one of our easier games, but that might not be the case.
Check out Texas Southern's early season schedule:
@ Drake
@ Wichita State
@ Oklahoma
@ Oregon State
@ Oregon
@ #3 Kansas State
North Texas (first home game!)
@ Iowa State
@ Texas State
@ Arkansas
@ #17 Baylor
@ Southern
@ Alcorn State
@ Prairie View A&M
Brutal way to start a year.

Re: Texas Southern @ Oregon
As a smaller school without a lot of history and big conference behind them, they have to schedule like this to maintain the program, even it doesn't really help them on the floor.oregontrack wrote:I know that was a joke, but OSU has more talent then we do. Armstead
Sim
EJ
Catron
Jacob
Yes, Sim is starting over Teondre. Looks like Altman and I are the only two Sim supporters on the planet, although not even I thought he'd start over Teondre (last fall, when making predictions, I think I said Armstead/Sim/Teondre/EJ/Jacob would be my starting 5, as we were under the assumption Catron wouldn't be back to start the year).

Re: Texas Southern @ Oregon
I never thought I'd say this, but Catron looks really good.
EDIT: He's good when he's posting up. HE can't play defense, and he certainly can't dribble.

Catron's always been good, he's just cutting out a lot of the bad that often went hand-in-hand with his style of play.

All you Sim haters can officially go to hell, he had the play of the year last year, and he just wrapped up the top play of this season.

Sim shoots better behind the half court line then he does from the 3point line.
