OS continues to impress...

Post by buckmarkduck »

Wow, if they are better than UO I would be shocked, Robinson is doing wonders up in Cornvalley  . They just lost to Montana 71-66.

Oregon Beavers will always be bad as long as they hire second rate coaches and
don't put any in any money to upgrade their sorry-ass program. I respect the baseball
and football programs, but Jay John and Craig Robinson were and are jokes.

Who was our coach though?

Altman is doing a better job already than EK did the last 2 seasons, even though Altman has half the talent Ernie had.

They hired Robinson just to get some attention on their bball program. Obummer showed up for a few games & got everyone up in Cornvalley all excited, now they're realizing CRob really can't coach. Its amazing what DeCareless has done to their two main programs just for some attention & cheap money. Worst AD ever.

I would still say that Pac-10 teams should be weary of OSU. They have several embarrassing losses in the past few seasons OOC, then rebounded to post very respectable conference records. For whatever reason, their 1-3-1 seems to disrupt Pac-10 programs more than the small guys, although it does appear they miss Seth Tarver a great deal.

Montana did beat UCLA on the road so it's not really surprising that they beat OSU.

Yeah, butt... Who smacked the prez in the teeth and caused 12 stitches?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Does Robinson retain his job for the duration?

I didn't think they would be this bad, to lose to montana, george washington, texas southern I think (who we beat) and utah valley.

I would say they have more talent on their team than Oregon (due to having a full allotment of scholarship players) but they don't have the discipline and coaching to do anything with the talent.
