Herbie just said a tattoo shop has been giving up to 10 players free tats for signed memorabilia. One of the player is Pryor, this could be bad for the buckeyes.

Damn, why couldn't this have come to light last year before the Rose Bowl?

My goodness, at the very least charge the players 10$ or something. What a bunch of morons if true.

Now on ESPN they are saying Pryor was not one of the players, so I guess we will see. But they said the players may be suspended for the sugar bowl.

That's because Pryor tweeted that he paid for his. Doesn't mean he did, but that's there source now.

Pretty petty, IMO. It's not like they chose tOSU in order tO get free tats. And why is bartering not allowed by the NCAA? Money is not the only way to pay for things. Maybe because they weren't signing NCAA stuff that the cOlleges could make money on?

It sounds like the signed merchandise just hung in the parlor also. Maybe they sold it, but what if they just hung it in the shop. Seems really petty.

These guys could get suspended, meanwhile Cash Newton hasn't missed a down. The NCAA is a joke.

Yes, they should just deny it and say their dads told them to go to this place, but they actually went to another one. They don't know how they got signed paraphernalia. Or perhaps the owners of the parlor went to a university festivity and had stuff signed.

Crap, I wonder if LMJ signed that dog in exchange for his tats? Canzano should get right on this, it's very important that these players aren't signing things out of the eyes of the NCAA.

It's not free. It's barter. Trade. That's how the world worked for thousands of years and still does. Money is not the only currency. I own a business and do quite a bit of bartering.

How could the NCAA allow bartering? There is no way to control what happens since players could, for example, "barter" their game tickets for a new car.

Wow, Jim Rome just said they are all suspended for the first 5 games next year INCLUDING Pryor.

So 5 games for tatts, and 5 min for 200k. It's good to be an SEC team.

I am sure you do...But, the question is...Are you currently a college athlete? Makes a big difference on that one.....
