''It has gotten to the point where
this whole thing should have been avoided and could have been avoided,'' Arthur Brown Sr. said late Monday morning. "If we could do it all over again there are a lot of things we should have and would have done differently. For Bryce, I'd say
regardless of how you express the need to make additional visits, if that's your plan, then don't commit. Don't commit. Also, you should keep a very frequent communication with the coaches -- Coach Shannon and the other coaches.
"If you have that time constraint, then keep in mind that they [the coaches] have time constraints, too, and you should be sensitive to that.''
Where was that, before the circus began?

I would say this isn't that big of a deal since he's probably already been down there with his brother. He knows what is down there and is wanting to check out more.

Brown has been to Miami multiple times, even attended games played by the 2/4* Miami RB commits, Mike James and Lamar Miller, while in the vicinity. (Both of these guys are in the 5'11/205-210 lb range, with 4.4/40 times. Bryce measures out at 6'/215/4.4... What a nasty potential, if Miami only knew how to put it to work. With the right coaching and line, that is set up for one BadAzz Power running game.))
One of his trips was reported to have taken place immediately after the official visit to Oregon.

Sounds like Dad realizes that this has all backfired some, and now his dreams of both boys playing together at Miami may have just gone up in smoke.

I'm just speculating. But, now, it kind of sounds like they were telling Miami privately that he was a lock to go there. But, wanted to use his trips. Miami seems to be wanting to force their hand and get him to commit now.

I feel like no matter what Bryce Brown does on the field, he'll never live up to expectations. In college I could see him getting like 1,050 yards with 5.8 ypc his junior year and like 1,200 yards with 6 ypc his senior year, yet many would say he was a bust.

He HAS visited Miami, just not HIS official visit and not recently. Why would he visit a school unless he wanted to check it out, wanted a free trip, or wanted to announce at the school?
