We are gonna win. I felt it before the Stanford game & I'm feeling it again. It'll be close but I think we'll pull it out.

Hopefully the win against Stanford gave these kids the confidence to win another one.
The last time we played the Beavs, the game was close. Now we have them at Mac Court and we no longer have the possibility of an 0-18 record looming overhead. The Beavs have been hot lately, but we have a chance to show that it was just a streak and to possibly ruin their chances for a postseason.
Not that I'm getting my hopes up or anything.

They have their win now so they "should" be able to just go out there and play with nothing to lose at this point. I'm feeling an Oregon win as well, but OSU is actually playing pretty good basketball, much better then Stanford anyways.

All they are playing for now is pride. A decent program should never finish in last place. Since the pac-10 is down this year, maybe Oregon will miraculously win the pac-10 tourny.

I agree, the pac-10 is down. We'll probably send about 4 teams to the big dance. That's not very good.
Not to mention the bottom half of the pac-10 is really bad (Stanford, Wazzu, Oregon, Oregon State). Although OSU is looking good lately.

4 teams to the dance? really?

I think 5 teams will go: Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, Washington and Cal.

ASU, Cal, Washington, and UCLA are in for sure. After that, Arizona is the only team with a shot. If they lose to Wazzu and lose in the first round of the pac-10 tournament, I don't see them making it.

USC has a legitimate shot too...especially if they sweep the oregon schools which seems pretty likely down there.

18-11 with about a .500 record in the pac-10 probably wouldn't be enough. Look at their wins... their only quality win was over ASU. I'd be shocked USC made it unless they swept Oregon schools and won a couple games in the pac-10 tournament.
