Catholics vs Convicts! How could you not watch this game? Tons of history and tradition even if both teams are mediocre.

Nothing is worse than the CBS announcers and the half time show crew. One of the biggest college football weekends of the year and there they are talking about the NFL. Garunteeing that both ND and Miami would be playing in BCS games in 2 years was a ridiculous comment.

Miami won't be overtaking VaTech anytime soon, but ND only has to win what 9 games to make a BCS game? They will be there in the next 2 years.

They have to win 9 games AND be ranked in the top 14 of the final BCS standings.

Wow high standards the BCS has for ND.

Anytime ND has 9 wins they will be ranked in the top14.
Are these two guys the most homer ND announcers you've ever heard? They think everyone on ND is the next great NFL player.

CBS has some of the worst sportscasters since they cover the SEC so much that they've become biased in favor of the SEC and any traditional power.

Brando has already stated that Oregon has no chance in the game.

Any time a team makes it to the NCG, they more than have a chance. Just shows the bias CBS has towards the SEC, although he does like Oregon to be #1 next season.

He also said the Pac 10 doesnt play defense and a little while later showed the defensive stat totals with Oregon at 24 and Auburn at 55.
I dont put all my money on stats but they do speak to the performance of a team.

Imagine if we ended up with Harris instead of Thomas. Harris throws WAY too many picks.

I think a lot of that has to do with him not having good coaches around him. If Kelly had gotten him, I don't think he would have looked as bad.

I definitely agree, but still it's never a good sign when you lead the country in interceptions, no matter who your coaches are.
