At this point I am flabbergasted that the NCAA actually punished USC. In light of their recent rulings, I don't see how USC doesn't win their appeal.

Here is my quandary... How in heck does a kid who, in an uneducated lapse of judgement, sells his memorabilia to "help his family in these tough economic times", and just happens to receive some cool custom inkwork on the side, afford any of the vehicles he is purportedly shopping for. (No mention of what year the Charger is.)

Shoot, I know a lot of college kids who can't afford the parking tickets theyreceive while in class at the U of O, let alone 3 moving violations.

The Denali he "test drove" today (2 years later) has a suggested retail of $20,000 according to Kelly Blue Book. And doesn't every used car lot let you take a 500 mile test drive so your family can provide some advice?

Considering that the punishments are being handed out by two different violation boards that handle the many different kinds of violations, it's not surprising that they've come out with different verdicts.

Image I guess it isn't actually a thing that wouldn't be readily available to every student at tOSU, right?Image

Apparently it was also available for Maurice Clarett. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Funny thing is, there were questions about the vehicle Pryor was driving during his recruitment, as well.

I believe it was a 'Vette, at the time. Pretty sure the rumor involved a dealer who was also a tOSU fan.

Strange how that works.
