Just heard it on ESPNradio. That is shocking. #1 pick overall decides to finish school?

Yea just saw it on news feed on my mobile, stanford announced that Luck will return next season. Stanford will be tough next year next to Oregon.

Per ESPN

And reports have Harbaugh to Miami for $7 million. Still going to be a tough game on the Farm.

Well, let's see what Harbaugh does. It sounds like the Dolphins are willing to offer somewhere in the neighborhood of 7mil per year for him.

Seriously though, why would Luck stay? He is going to lose a fortune when they cap rookie pay. He will be going to Carolina where they really do have a lot of talent and they just need a good QB. I understand he has his own reasons, but I am just saying that it seems like a pretty good year to go for him.

I think last year was the last uncapped year for rookies.... assuming that's negotiated into the new CBA..... I could be wrong, but I believe I read that a few times.

They lose a lot of players from this year's team so I don't think they'll be as dangerous, but they'll still be tough. Plus, Stanford's stadium doesn't provide them with much of a home-field advantage.

they lose a lot of lineman. I think this could lead Harbaugh to stay 1 more year too. I've heard the Dolfans throwing out 8 million for him, but as a private school, Stanford's alum's could pay him a lot without having to release the actual number

But do you actually think Stanford will want to throw that type of money at a football coach?
