Falcons will be a tough team to beat, but Pack almost took em out earlier this year in Atlanta. So we can do it.

I remember loving to watch the Packers for 2 reasons when I was a kid... Bart Starr, and the team colors!

Packers better win, I wouldn't be able to handle another Super Bowl win for the Steelers..

I've kept my handmade Duck bracelet on and am going to wear it loud & proud for the Pack! Ruhland made it as a fundraiser for his son & it's been serving me well.

Your very lucky. I'm actually originally from Boston, so I'm a Patriots fan. Needless to say, the week of the national championship game through the loss to the Jets was the worst sports week of my life. Since as a Pats fan, I have to hate the Steelers, I'll be pulling for your Packers.

Good deal, fwiw, I was hoping for the Patriots to go to the super bowl. Brady is one of my favorite NFL players.

It sucks Jets and Steelers were playing for the AFC championship, both of those teams are my least favorites in the NFL. I was rooting for Ravens or Pats, oh well.

The Steelers are a really good team though, so I'm cautiously optimistic about the Super Bowl.

It's nice to have a conversation about football without the first sentence being, "Tom Brady is gay!"haha But yeah, it was a pain watching the AFC Championship Game since the Jets and Steelers are two of my least favorite teams, but it doesn't always work out. We had a great year, and actually are very young so experience sort of bit us in the arse. We weren't able to adjust once the Jets continued to drop back in coverage, and O'Brien was not willing to call enough run plays to keep them honest, it was very frustrating.

The Steelers are a really good team, but if Troy isn't 100%(he may very well be, not sure) you can attack the zones in their defense with underneath routes. With Rodgers at the helm and plenty of capable weapons, I could see Rodgers doing much better in the Super Bowl than he did in the NFC Championship Game.

Plus, the Steelers obviously don't have the strongest offensive line and Pouncey may not be healthy(saw he was hurt haven't heard the prognosis) which makes them even more vulnerable. I was very impressed with how Tramon Williams and Charles Woodson were able to hold man-to-man on the Pats all game long, which allows the Packers to be very aggressive in their blitz schemes. And when you have Clay Matthews, BJ Rajii and others, that isn't good news for the Steelers. It should be a great game, but I feel pretty confident picking the Packers, though my hater shades may be clouding my judgement

Anyway, if Polumalu isn't healthy, that would definitely take a toll on Pittsburgh. And you bring up a good point, I think if our defense can slow down the Steelers, we got the game. It's really unlikely they'll shut down Rodgers and the Packers. To be honest, what scares me most is coach Mike. If we slow things down like we always do when we get a lead, I feel like the Steelers could come back and win. Watch it, Packers have a 10-14 point halftime lead. And we blow it in the 2nd half to make it a very close game. Toss up in the end.

Yeah, I love talking about many different sports, so I'm glad there are others who do as well.

I'm not a major follower of the Packers, but I have heard from some of their fans the same concerns you brought up. In the Super Bowl you have to put the pedal to the metal or else you'll end up sitting in the loser's locker room. We already know the Steelers can overcome big deficits since they did it against Baltimore, they could do it again. If the Packers execute their gameplan and don't get conservative it will be tough to stop you guys though. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to face you guys if Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley were healthy though, but if Starks contributes solidly that should be enough anyways.

Behind my Ducks of course! I too vividly remember the days of Bart Starr, Hornung, Dowler, Kramer...I am kind of torn however, my son played football with Troy Polamalu at Douglas High School in Winston, Oregon and Troy is such a tremendous person it's hard NOT to root for him. But then again he already has a ring or two now doesn't he?

The thing that strikes me is how good of a team the Pack is when playing on artificial turf. Almost like the team was built for indoor weather...Did you watch them carve up the Falcons? Methinks they might just do it again in JerryWorld against the Steelers. Should be a great game...

I'll root for the Packers on Sunday because I hate all the bandwagon Steeler fans around here. They're Yankee or Red Sox-levels in their numbers.
