Haven't been able to check these boards lately....

But what is the deal with Gaines? Is he still coming to Oregon? Has he qualified? He has still no decided? If so when is he deciding?


Great player, but I haven't heard ANYTHING lately on him, anybody else got some inside scoop?

He's fasting with Bryce Brown.

It was stated on mosley's blog that word from butler cc had got the required stuff done to get Gaines into Oregon about a week ago. no word has come from the athletic department since then though so i guess its still up in the air.

Someone on eDuck posted a link to his facebook, which shows at least one Duck emblem on it now. So maybe Tyrece is optimistic that he is or will be a Duck, but nothing official from the Duck Athletic Dept that I'm aware of.

Unfortunately his facebook has nothing to do with his admittance. Don't be so sure he's gonna be a Duck unfortunately, there's definitely a hold up somewhere

What could possibly be taking so long with this? If this drags on for another few weeks, I'm going to assume he isn't going to be a duck.

He WANTS to be here, now we just have to get him here. No worries.

I wouldn't be surprised if the holdup is resolved by next week sometime. We can hope, anyway.

gaines is wanting to come to Oregon but word is there is some non field issues that need to be worked out with his papers to get him into school. I dont believe its lacking classes but just dotting the Is and cross Ts.

I cant wait for him to be official. hopefully the paper work gets done sooner rather than later.
