Pryor to the NFL, after all?

Not sure I trust this source any farther than I could hawk a loogie on a hot day in Autzen, but here goes:

http://sportales.com/football/terrelle- ... ter-all-2/

"But weather it was the notion of losing a half season next year, or the draft projections that moved Terrelle Pryor from a projected mid third round pick to a first rounder after his performance in the Sugar Bowl and the announcement that Andrew Luck was staying at Stanford, Pryor has apparently decided that the dollars outweigh the promise."

IIRC, Pryor just had ankle surgery, following the Bowl game.

Hardly a reliable source. However, Mr. Pryor isn't known for being a stand-up guy. It wouldn't surprise me if he does go back on his word.

And he should still not get drafted as a qb. He still cant throw the ball.

Seahawks, ya'll?

Pryor comes off as self-serving - which is entirely true, and Tressel made a real unforced error here; we all knew he didn't have control of these guys, just played them for their NFL aspirations, but why take steps to make it a factual matter

As soon as the 5 game suspension was announced, I was pretty sure that he wasn't coming back.

Watch the 49ers draft Cam Newton, the Seahawks draft Pryor, and my interest in the NFL evaporate.

Seattle needs 3 more OL before they even consider drafting a qb. SF could take a flyer on a qb, and a big qb like TP or CN might serve SF well since they would/should have a pretty dominant rushing attack under JH.

Pryor has 3 more days to decide for sure though, iirc if he doesn't put his hat in by the 15th, he won't be able to come out in anything but the summer draft (which may not be happening because of the cba)
