"Backup point guard Kamyron Brown’s dismissal Friday from the Nebraska men’s basketball team scrambles coach Doc Sadler’s plan for a more settled rotation."
Brown played in NU’s season-opener, then was suspended for 11 games for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Upon returning to action, Brown told The World-Herald Jan. 5: “When I was first suspended, I was disappointed. Not only for myself, but I have other people out there expecting me to do well and keep a straight head. I let them down.
“Just knowing Doc took a chance on me and knowing I messed up makes me want to play that much harder for him.’’
