IM IN! I got four years... Why wouldnt MB/CK want a short, slow, 35 year old white guy with no skills?!? But I did kick FG's for my JV football team back in 1991... :o

Cool! Will they pay for my knee to be repaired at the Slocum Center so I can be comfortable while riding the pine?

If I ever did get in the game, I could work with the kickers... As a tee!

I bet that there is at least 1 poster on this board that is a solid athlete and could at least impress the coaches. Rudy made it, so you never know!!!!!!

The tryouts are really kind of lame. They consist of running the 40 doing a shuttle run.

Ha, I might be physically able to try out (6'4" 190lbs), but I only played a couple years of football.

If this was baseball on the other hand, I'd definitely give it a shot. Because I played basketball all my life up until my soph year in HS because of arm problems.

Rudy played for ND & we see what they've done the last 20 years.

Wow, 6'4" 190lb, not bad!! :P Go for it, TK, we will all be routing and cheering for you as you out of the tunnel into Autzen! What do you have to lose? :D After that you can try out for the basketball team, it sounds like they really need help!! :D

Surely you can beat a 6.32/40, TK?

Hey TK I found this!:

Heck, if this guy can play college basketball, albeit juco, I think that you should try out to be a walk on for the Ducks! But, just pass all your classes!

I'm only 5'5 130 lbs but I bet at 30 I can still run a sub 5 40. Maybe even sub 4.8 right now. However one hit from TJ Ward and I'd get folded worse than Zac Robinson in the holiday bowl.

I played college baseball for 2 years before changing my major and transferring. I'm 6' 195lb. i could probably squeak out a sub 5 40... but to reiterate jhop's point, i would have nightmare's of tj ward repeatedly destroying my spinal cord.

Haha, very true. I heard about that story. Strange.

I wish I played football in HS, but it wasn't meant to be. I think I'll settle for running this site and going to college for school.

Had I been built like I was at the age of 40 (5'11/190/12% body fat... At 55, those days are long gone) when I graduated from HS, instead of 128 lbs soaking wet, I would have thought it was worth a shot.

Of course, the prospect of a head shot from TJ Ward should give any of us pause...
