this is a FREE article!
The more Miami chatter I hear about them being out, the more I start to believe it. Surprised K-state is on there, I'm betting it's because the source is a Kansas native.

Miami locals do say the Miami Herald is not the authority on quality information and Greg Cote (the blogger) is kind of like a Canstanzo so to speak.

If it really is down to Oregon and Kansas State, I think it's obvious which school Brown should pick.

Is the source for Miami the same one that confirmed they recinded their offer? I'll believe this when I hear it from BB himself. Here's what I have to say about this guys credibility:

I think this is turning into a classic recruit wants one school parent wants the other. Bryce wants Oregon. Parents dont.

I agree Mops, I think Bryce does and has wanted Oregon and his parents are exhausting all options to make this easier for them. Such as visits to UT and LSU are close to Miami still allowing them to move to MIami or Texas. USC is not thus they are eliminated.
Kstate allows them to stay home and watch him play close to home.
Oregon unfortunately is a thorn in the side, but ultimately Bryce gets to pick, or so his dad claims. So we shall see.
Side note: Rivals indicates a death in the Brown family has recently happened. I think prayers and thoughts are in order for the family.

Someone posted on a scout Miami board that this article was refuted by the Brown's and that before the death in the family they were planning on making an unoficial visit Tuesday. Eevrything I hear is always along the lines of Bryce loves Chip and our offense but remains committed to Miami. Anytime they are asked if Miami is out they say no and that everything is still hunky dory with Miami. Have to remember that the Browns have a long relationship with Shannon and Miami that goes back some 3 or 4 years between both brothers and that in the end the pull to play with his brother again may be too strong to overcome. I'm still anticipating that he signs with Miami until BB's father says otherwise.

Maybe so, but if he has always been 100% commited to Miami, why didn't he just sign there on LOI day?

How many times have the recruits won that battle?

That's tough to answer because the only time it makes news is if a guy wants to go somewhere and can't because his parents won't let him, but I would guess that it happens all the time

This was posted on SI.com today. Interesting how it says his choices between "LSU & Kansas St." are untrue.

I never read or heard anything that said it was down to LSU and Kansas St. Oh the drama with recruiting. Thankfully it will be over soon.

Could you imagine the comedy of BB going to KState? BB is too smart to do something like that. It's probably down to Miami and Oregon like we all suspect. At least we will know definitively next month.
Oh, and let me get this straight: BB is still "considering Miami" and is "committed to Miami" at the same time? The SI article also still has the old March commit date. Is this yet another article that came out a week after the information was attained?

You know this is cutting edge, up to the minute, information, right down to the closing statement: "Brown will announce his decision March 12 at the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame."
Way to stay on top of things, guys!
