I wonder what they are investigating, other than the fact Brian Butler is back on the Kansas State payroll now that Snyder is in charge.

Maybe the NCAA should also spend some time investigating the reporter/recruiter that Snyder is using to re-recruit Chris Harper back home.

That is interesting. It sure would be a shame if Butler has jeopardized Brown's a amateur status.

Especially since Brown has no professional option for at least 3 years...

Well, it's about time. I hope Brown can shed this guy.

Butler stopped charging for his Brown updates becuase of this, what an idiot, he tries to exploit HS Star athletes.

This could be bad for Oregon if Brown is not eligible.

Correction this could be bad for Brown if he is not elgible, which if anything should push him away from K-state to avoid any accusations.

Actually, if nobody can have him, it really doesn't hurt the Ducks... just doesn't help either. It means the biggest loser is a 17 year old kid who trusted the judgement of his family's chosen confidant, and learned a really expensive lesson.

The thing that is painfully obvious about Brian Butler, is he doesn't appear to have performed due diligence concerning NCAA regulations (And that is a real rabbit warren), and is operating his business from position of ignorance.

It's not like that hasn't happened before!

I think this quote by the player Colby Duranleau sums up all we need to know about Butler “I didn’t want to mess with some of the stuff that he was talking about, like not going to our high school practices..."

It certainly appears Butler preaches a 'me first' attitude, which can be poison in the locker room.

BB just needs to sign with the Ducks. Forget all the users around you, trying to get something from you, & just go to the school YOU want to go to. I honestly feel bad for the kid, he's getting skrewed because of some selfish tool that wants some attention.

Thanks for the link. Hopefully the NCAA can get rid of 3rd party guys like Butler.

If they don't put a stop to this type of circus now, it will be nothing but a nightmare in the future.

"He is verbally committed to Miami, Butler said, but a Miami official said Thursday that the program was no longer recruiting Brown and would not offer him a scholarship, even though it had scholarships available. Butler said Brown was still considering Miami."

This is really getting interesting now.
