Take this with a grain of salt. But, I was just looking at the LSU forum to see if there was any local info. Some guy there was saying that there was a fight involving people with Brown, a gun was pulled, etc.

Sounds far-fetched. But, you never know. This story was actually repeated by a UT fan who doesn't appear to have any association or knowledge of the LSU guy. So, maybe....? Could be them making fun of the UT fans though and trying to get them to spread a false rumor.

That's actually funny. Who the heck knows what really happened. All I know is that if we miss on him it just means another top Rb in the '10 class. I would rather have Bryce, obviously, but it's not like there isn't plenty of top flight RBs who want to come here next year.

I'm thinking it's a big ploy to make fun of UT fans. There has been a back and forth between the boards lately with LSU threads disappearing, etc.

With Brown, it is what it is. Obviously it would be so great to land him, but if we don't, we will be fine at running back. We will get some other studs, and I cannot remember the last time rb was an issue at Oregon.

I just wish everyone would applaud what we HAVE and not lust for trouble.

Then Bryce and Mr. Arthur Brown Sr. met for dinner with Les Miles and most of the coaching staff.

That is the worst part about the visit, from an Oregon perspective.

Someone on that thread also mentioned Bryce's brother (assuming not Arthur Jr.) was in a Baton Rouge bar, whipped it out and started peeing everywhere. I really don't think any of this happened. I think it's funny how the LSU and Tenn boards never mention Oregon as a contender for BB. Even when someone posts Bryce saying the Ducks are #1 and how he talks so highly of them.

It would appear its down to us and LSU...damn it I was hoping he wouldn't like it!

Maybe I'm reading through a haze of green, but the report on the website just seemed like a typical canned response about a recruiting trip.

PotentialPlayers.com has had glowing reports about every visit, from the viewpoint of the visited team.

This is typical of the reports that have been posted there.

The only team BB has consisitently been quoted as complimentary to by an outside source, is Oregon.
