Well if a thread devolves into politics it should be moved or locked!

I don't want to make anyone feel like their opinion doesn't count, but you don't feel just a little sheepish making demands about a thread that started 11 years before you joined here?

If you read the original post you’ll see that this thread is dedicated to talking politics or literally anything else you want to talk about.TheDrake wrote:dthomas=ddixon wrote:The original post answers your question.TheDrake wrote:Why isn't this thread in the politics section?

Re: Duck07 Thread
My thread about presidents who've never been indicted was deleted from the out of topic section where political stuff is supposed to go. Maybe it's here somewhere, sandwiched between all the anti-vax propaganda.

That's okay, Pez, you might have to scratch Biden's name off that list before long anyway.

I'd imagine if he were indicted, he'd be happy to.Phalanx wrote:That's okay, Pez, you might have to scratch Biden's name off that list before long anyway.

Your thread is called "If Trump is found guilty..."pezsez1 wrote:My thread about presidents who've never been indicted was deleted from the out of topic section where political stuff is supposed to go. Maybe it's here somewhere, sandwiched between all the anti-vax propaganda.

dd10snoop28's thread is called "Florida resident indicted by NY DA"
They are both #1 and #2 placement in the off-topic thread, which can be found here: https://ducksattack.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=15
I tend to use "view active topics" and that only holds the threads that have been discussed in the last week.
Again, its not a conspiracy and perhaps since you brought a different discussion up, you could explain why all of the Pro-Vax propaganda was correct, how about the basic one like "you can't spread the virus if you get vaccinated."

Re: Duck07 Thread
Did you really just use an "active topic" filter to try to find a thread that has been deleted?Your thread is called "If Trump is found guilty..."
Congrats though for finding one of my other threads, I guess. "A" for effort.

Re: Duck07 Thread
Pez had started a different thread about former Presidents who haven’t been indicted. I can’t find it and I’m not sure what happened to it.
As far as the accusations against the mods, the two most popular threads in the off-topic are a thread criticizing Trump and a thread supporting Trump. Unless posts are pornographic or uncivil we really couldn’t care less what’s talked about in the off-topic section. And even in the dedicated sections, we let a lot slide.

Re: Duck07 Thread
While I love this thread, I do think I'm gonna move it to off-topic section. I want the Ducks sections to be more focused on the sports. But perhaps shortly after that we should start a thread about presidents who don't have history of owning slaves, and Trump would be the only one with a clean past. Even Obama is due to pay reparations soon.

Re: Duck07 Thread
On a side note, does the word "antivax" hold any meaning? People toss it around like it is some sort of powerful word, but to me, it's a word that has lost its juice because of the misuse and overuse of the word.
And it's not only because of the overuse that has contributed to its lack of substance, but it's also the way that it's used.
Basically, anytime there is a debate about a substantive issue, the word is used by one side in order to justify why they are not willing to engage in a discussion regarding the merits of a differing worldview because the other side is so crazy for not adhering to the mainstream media narrative.
Racism is another iteration of this same problem. The word used to have meaning but it means almost nothing nowadays.
Add any "ism" or "phobia" to the list as well.
