If Oregon wins out...
I know it is unlikely...just asking...would they get a bid in the NIT?

Re: If Oregon wins out...
By winning out that would mean winning the Pac-10 tourney which would be a automatic berth. That said I don't think they can beat UCLA or UA, unless they both get knocked off early, then UO can beat anyone else as they have shown.

win out in regular season would prob secure an NIT spot, but we'll need to win the conf tourney to get into the NCAAs.

if Oregon wins out the regular season, their RPI will be 93.1 on average.
it will be roughly 14 spots less for every extra loss they have on top of that.
if they win out and win the conf tourn, rpi would be 69.6

I would call the NIT a lock at 18-12 (pre conference tourney, naturally). We'd be 4th place in a power conference. A "down" power conference, sure, but a power conference nonetheless. Winning out would also mean going 10-2 in our last twelve games, late season success accounts for a lot, even for the NIT.

Even if Oregon lost to like 'Zona, I still think Oregon might get a look from the NIT, but beating them would really improve the RPI.oregontrack wrote:I would call the NIT a lock at 18-12 (pre conference tourney, naturally). I would streak at Matt Court for the home opener next year.
