Re: Oregon @ Cal (Cal leads series 1-0)
We win game two 4-3.
Boer FINALLY got a win. His stuff has been electric this year, but our offense has screwed him time and time again.
Mendenhall hit a shocking 2-run HR.
Moen was excellent in relief, got the save.

Re: Oregon @ Cal (series tied at 1-1)
We're up 4-0 in the 4th, we chased their starter after the first. 6 hits/3 runs. Booyah.
IF we can hold on today, there's no telling how big this series win would be. I did not think we'd win this series when I did my postseason projection last week; two straight weeks of Top 25 series wins would be huge.
Don't let up, Ducks!

4-1 UO, bot 5
Tyler Anderson is as good as gone, no question about it; but it'll be REALLY interesting to see where Boer and Kuedell go in the draft. Boer's got the arm, stuff, and build to go relatively high, and Kuedell has quietly been awesome this year (era under 3, i believe?). There's a chance we lose all 3 starters, but if i had to put money on it I'd say Kuedell, at least, will be back and will probably take over the #1 or #2 spot next year. Depending on how Jones progresses, I guess.

4-4 now. cal hit a line drive off jones' back, pulfer grabbed it, and threw it wild past first for cal to tie it up. Jones and Pulfer both come up lame after that play.

Got Marder on to leadoff the inning. Let's see if they can do anything.

Nope, pinch hitter Payne hit into a double play.

Well, f***. Now we're guaranteed to lose this game/series. 4-4 tie in the bottom of the 9th? Same deal as Friday. We don't win in extras.

How many times has McGoo lost it for us in the 8th or 9th now this season? He just doesn't have it like last year.

It seems like Mcgough gives up a run just about every time he pitches. Very frustrating season so far.
