We're back and better than ever. It was a nightmare updating and backing up all our databases for Y2K but we are back online and only time will tell if we will survive the coming Apocalypse.
Our first look is on the Mountain West. The conference has looked like one of the best conferences in the nation despite not having the biggest of schools. The UNLVs, Fresno and especially Utah. The Utes have been one of the big surprises. Led by Andre Miller, the Utes have been anchored by Mottola and the breakout freshman Britton Johnsen. Miller has looked the part of the best point guard his distribution skills have top shelf and his sixteen points per have have been no slouch either.

Andre Miller huh.
My guess is that if anyone is running an inside offense, he'd be a terrific point guard to have. Can dish it well, and can score well inside, bullying other PGs. I wonder how he'll turn out defensively though.

Re: Draft Watch.net/99
Walter "Wally" Szczerbiak, pronounced Zur-bi-ak, is a Euro (Spaniard from Madrid) that made his way stateside and went to college. Not recruited heavily, he has now begun to draw some substantial interest from scouts with his emergence in the last couple of years. He plays for the mid-major Miami of Ohio and has been the clear leader of the team. He leads them in points, rebounds, steals and in assists. He has draw some comparisons of a less-athletic Magic Johnson with his point-forward abilities. As a senior he will be in the draft this coming spring and, depending on how much further he develops he could challenge for a top spot in the draft.

Normally not until the start of the draft. Zyme will post small writeups for the top 5 players at each position as a primer.
