Lamar Odom

The flexible forward out of the Mid-Major Rhode Island lead his team to a surprise 2nd round in the NCAA tournament. He is excellent outside shooter and combos this with excellent speed/finishing combination. Loves to play with the ball in his hands. Scouts love his upside but worry that his consistent selfish play may lead to a fair number of turnovers. This propensity should not discount for just how good he was in college and has the the potential to be in the pros.

Chris Andersen

The "Bird Man" knows one thing and one thing exceptionally well: Defense. More specifically putting an orange spheroid into row Zed. While his defense work is top shelf he struggles to do more than be present on the offensive end as he never seemed to develop an offensive game. Even at the small school Blinn he was never an offensive threat despite looking like a man against boys. Top shelf upside.

Mirsad Türkcan
C+ C+ C C B- A

The first ever Turkish player to make the trip across the pond to try to make a splash in the Association. He won the young player of the year (rookie) for FIBA last season. Born in Yugoslavia (serbia), he moved to Istanbul as a youngster and came up through the Anadolu Efes Istanbul academy. He turned pro at age 16 and has been playing with the top side since then. His professional experience at the highest levels of FIBA have shown with his textbook footwork on the boxout. Very good outside shooter for someone of his size, the competition between he and Odom was something to see with two 6'9"+ players outdoing the guards on a 3pt shooting contest. Scouts loved what they saw in europe but one never knows if he can make the full transition to the NBA.

Tim James

Of the power forwards, James was easily among the best defenders, if not the best defender in the class. He was 1st team all ACC and 1st NCAA all-defensive team. He plays exceptional positional defense and had good quick hands on post defense. While he seems to give up on the offensive boards, he has solid defensive positioning on the bounces. Very good potential.

Scott Padgett

Coming out of the powerhouse Kentucky, one would expect a good, if not great palyer. Despite being one of the most highly recruited players in the nation, Padgett ended up only solid. He has very good motor on the offensive boards and while he is a little raw in some part of his game, he has one of the highest potentials.
