Top 5 Power Forward prospects:

Kenyon Martin C+ C C B- C+ B

If you are looking for the definition of prototypical for the power forward position you would be looking for Kenyon Martins every year. He has prototypical size, strength, speed and motor for his position. He is an athletic freak who can also surprise people with solid work on the post and midrange game. Excellent footwork on the board and his seeming immunity to any screen that faces him, he will easily be one of the better defenders to come out of this class. While he has showed flashes of greatness, many scouts are concerned that he has had more than his fair share of injuries in the past.

Brian Cardinal C+ B+ F+ C C A

One of the most unusual big men you will run across. The 1st team all big 10 forward one of the best outside shooters you will encounter. He has in the gym range and his midrange game is extremely good as well. He loves to play with the ball in his hands, but it also rarely leave them one he gets hi hands on it. He tends to only focus on the offensive side of his game, he is a deceptively good outside defender and at recovering off of screens. Top shelf potential.

Ime Udoka C+ C C- B+ C B

The PDX prospect played primarily at Portland State. Kinda short for his position, he is a true forward who is an excellent defender who is versitle enough to play everywhere in the front court. Few ball is safe with him around and exploits slower players to whom he is assigned. His main weakness is he doens't have amazing skills on the boards but his defensive skills are top shelf. Not amazing but very solid potential and should be plying his trade for decades to come.

Stromile Swift B- D+ D- C+ C+ B

One of your classic SEC defenders. He was anointed the next Shaq as he followed those enormous shoes when he signed for Louisiana State in the shadow of O'Neal's prolific campaign for the Tigers. There were a ton of expectations to fill and it would be fair he fell short of them but it would have been neigh impossible to fill them given where these were set. Swift's motor is inexhaustable and extremely good at timeing his defensive jumps to get his hands in the way of the shot. Swift has excellent hand, even for many guards in this class, and one of the quickest hands in the class. Very good at staying with his man. While he may not have amazing potential, he has more than enough to develop into an everyday pro.

Mark Madsen C+ C D C C+ B

Anchored the post for the Stanford, formerly known as the Indians, Cardinal this season. While he played C in college PF is probalby a more natural position at the next level. He is well rounded with a solid post game and very mature footwork in the post. He plays excellent positional defense but scouts are not a fan that he doesn't take any chances.

Other Power Forward prospects:

Jerome Moiso C+ D- F+ D+ B- C

The Frenchman who attended Cal does one thing but does that one thing exceptional: Rebounding. The most developed rebounder in the class he can rip them down with the best of them. This however comes at the expense of almost every other aspect of his game. Probably playing pretty close to his peak.

Malik Allen C+ C- C C C+ B

The bigman out of Nova has a solid post and midrang game. Deceptively fast and decent boxout skills. Probalby would have benefited from another year in college to mature his defensive game.

Primoz Brezec B- C- D- C C C

Versitile player who has plenty of skills to play both forward positions despite being over seven feet tall. One of the wave of Yugos to have come over he has a very good post game but really lacks much a stellar defensive for rebounding skillset. Scouts dont know what to make of him and are split which way they think he will go, hence the poor grade on the potential.

Marcus Fizer C B- D+ C C+ B

Outside-In post out of final four squad of Iowa State. He was the leader of his squad. Prolific midrange shooter he will never be an issue on the line. Solid footwork on defense. Injury prone.

David Mushkudiani C C+ C- C C B

The big Georgian is a very good outside shooter. Very good setting screens and getting around screens. Very good closeout.
