Ducks win a thriller, 75-73. Oregon got off to a fast start, led 20-10 after the first quarter. 34-27 at the half, 48-44 after 3. With about 1:30 to go in the game, Syracuse led, 67-61. But the Ducks went on a 14-6 run, hitting free throws to clinch the win.

Sabrina was sooooo clutch when they got down 6. 2 straight 3's to tie it.
They absolutely need to work on rebounding still. Ruthy needs help in there, I feel like she's often 1 on 3 late in games down there.

Really annoying there was no TV for a ranked game, wish I could've seen it. Glad we got the win though.

I mean, if only the conference had like a Conference that could broadcast an event like this. Unfortunately our football teams all suck so half the games today are on the network and they can't figure out a way around it.Tray Dub wrote:Really annoying there was no TV for a ranked game, wish I could've seen it. BIG SHOTS: "I saw we went down six, and I just did everything I could to not lose that game," Ionescu said. "I knew it was time to hit some big-time shots."
BOX SCORE: Ionescu led Oregon with a game-high 26 points to go with 10 rebounds, six assists and no turnovers, posting a double-double after tallying a triple-double in UO's season opener on Tuesday at Alaska-Fairbanks. After a quiet first half, Ruthy Hebard also had a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Cazorla, who went 6-for-6 at the free throw line, finished with 14 points while Boley added 13 in her home debut with the Ducks.

With how much she is relied upon to create offense for herself and her teammates, the fact she had no turnovers might be the most impressive thing of all.Merganzer wrote:Ionescu led Oregon with a game-high 26 points to go with 10 rebounds, six assists and no turnovers.....
Looking at the box score, it is kinda surprising (perhaps alarming?) the Ducks were barely able to squeak out this victory at home. Syracuse was only 5-28 (17.9%) on threes. The Ducks were 11-31 (35.5%). The Ducks shot 18 more free throws than Syracuse, with 12 more makes. Syracuse had 15 turnovers, to 12 for Oregon. This should have been an easier win for the Ducks. It looks like rebounding may be what dooms this Oregon team in the end. Erin Boley plays 33 minutes and collects only 2 rebounds. Sabally plays 27 minutes and has only 1 rebound. The Ducks won't make it as far as they hope without those two collecting more rebounds.

Same here, was able to get it on the TV via Chromecast and watch it on a smaller tv while the football game was on the big tv. Can’t get enough ducks!duckduckgoose wrote:I watched the game on the Pac-12 network.Tray Dub wrote:Really annoying there was no TV for a ranked game, wish I could've seen it. Ugh, on ESPN and on this thread it said no TV. Guess I should always double-check P12.duckduckgoose wrote:I watched the game on the Pac-12 network.Tray Dub wrote:Really annoying there was no TV for a ranked game, wish I could've seen it. Glad we got the win though.

It wasn't available on TV for me, in Beaverton. Pac-12 Network & Pac-12 Oregon had the Oregon @ Utah football game. I watched it via Oregon Live Stream.Duck07 wrote:I didn't see it on my tv schedule at all.Tray Dub wrote: Ugh, on ESPN and on this thread it said no TV. Guess I should always double-check P12.

Really? I live in SW Portland and Pac-12 Oregon had the women’s basketball and cut to the football game when it was over. Would it matter who the provider was? I’m on Dish Network.Merganzer wrote:It wasn't available on TV for me, in Beaverton. Pac-12 Network & Pac-12 Oregon had the Oregon @ Utah football game. Hmm? I'm on Comcast,I just checked the listing that said football, and since the Stream was working fine, just went with it.duckduckgoose wrote:Really?
