Re: Oregon @ Fresno State (3 Game Series)
I'm fairly certain this is a four game series, with a double header on Saturday... or have I been drinking?
Fresno is Fresno... good bats, good arms. We won our series with them last year on emotion, and two amazing performances by Anderson and Stavert. We've got the pitching to compete with 'em again this year. Let's hope Anderson and LaTempa do their thing the first two games and set the standard.

You may have been drinking, but you're still right, it's a four game series.oregontrack wrote:I'm fairly certain this is a four game series, with a double header on Saturday... or have I been drinking?

Nice to see the Ducks get the bats going today. It does always seem they have their best game in the first game of the series. Hopefully they keep it up for the weekend.UOducksTK1 wrote:6-0, wow. Offensive power.

Listened to the whola game on the radio. Tyler was unbelievable & just about everybody was hitting the ball. Marder & Rodriguez had solo homers too.
Just wanted to add in... isn't amazing what happens when you're AD has some balls & goes out & gets a great coach? All the EK apologists rant & rave how there's NO WAY we can get a big name coach here. They're completely wrong. Just look at the baseball program. We don't even have a program but we go out & steal one of the best coaches in the country from one of the best baseball programs in the country. We have the money & the facilities to bring in a great coach for bball too. It's just whether MB actually cares enough & puts some real effort into our bball program.

Tyler Anderson did work tonight, what a performance! I find it pretty awesome how he's able to spread out hits. He gave up 7 hits, but it was almost one hit per inning. Well done.
Good start to the series.

Re: Oregon @ Fresno State (Oregon leads series 1-0)
Why does it seem that Anderson's like the only pitcher who gets any run support? With the run support, he seems to pitch more aggressively.
