Both?
That could be sweet... Not sure we wouldn't need to nick name Altman, "Coach Shoehorn", if he pulled that one off!

Hopefully we hear soon from Moser. Also read that Oregon is in the running for Memphis transfer Tarik Black.

On twitter I've seen people say we are in the lead for Black. If true he would be a huge get.

alrighty, let's educate oregontrack on tarik black. making snap judgments from nothing more than the stat sheets, he lost his starting job last year and his minutes were cut. conversely, his junior numbers pale in comparison to what he did earlier in his career. what was the situation? why is he looking to transfer?

Heres the one article I've read on the guy. It sounds like its a case of Best Player Available more than anything else.

247 has a thread on their forum that is titled Black is visiting. So sounds like he's in town, pretty sweet.

UNLV transfer Mike Moser has committed to Oregon, a source says.

Huge pickup for Altman. Should be a solid replacement for Kazemi. Hopefully Tarik Black is next.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Really hope he chooses Oregon. Would be a great finish to the class.

It would have been great to get him, but it isn't that surprising that Kansas got him. They are an elite basketball program, and getting Wiggins pushed them into title contention. Black will get on television more at Kansas, and they have a need inside with the loss of Withey.

It would have been nice to get him, but it's not a huge miss. I mean, the guy hasn't delivered on his potential at all from what I've seen/read. Obviously wouldn't be looking at it that way had he chosen us, but we should keep it in perspective.

The only really bad thing about this is it leaves us with Waverly likely starting at the 5, and that's probably not something I'm going to enjoy watching. Hope he proves me wrong.
