You must mean Catron since Crittle is gone.
yes I always got those two confused, thanks for the correction.

Down year again in the Pac-10. Vitale has only 1 Pac-10 team in the top 40 of his preseason poll. I know Vitale has a huge east coast / ACC bias, but really only 1 team?

Other than Washington I wouldn't put any Pac-10 teams in the top 40.

I'm interested to see how they do in the ooc games, hopefully they can do well there and maybe 5-7 conference wins. I think Malcolm will have a breakout year, and hopefully singler and williams will have nice seasons. It also wouldn't hurt if Sim started to make a few threes once in a while. It will be a very interesting season to watch, but like most have said lets hope they give effort all season. Can't wait to see the new recruits for next season already.

UCLA will be relying on some young kids, but they certainly have the talent to be Top 40. I don't think last year's poor finish was the start of a trend, they'll be back.

Both Arizona schools could/should qualify for top 40-ish.

I think both UCLA and Arizona are going to be top 25 teams. ASU and Washington still have a lot of talent. Wazzu is a darkhorse candidate to have a big year.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

So far, so good. I know we haven't beaten a lot of good teams, but maybe finishing something like 16-14 and getting an NIT bid is possible.

Finishing at .500 would be the best that could be expected for me. Anything over that would just be gravy.
