ESPN College Gameday to Boise St Vs Oregon game in Boise

I Think the match up with the broncos on september 5th would be an adequate stop for ESPN's College Game day, considering UofO, and BSU both finished in the top 10 in the final poll, and Boise Sts 40- something home game winning streak is in jeopardy, and both should be ranked in the pre season top 25 next season. Plus the fact that the only other good match ups that week are Alabama( Opened College Gameday last year) VS and V Tech (played in Atlanta), and BYU, and Oklahoma.

I'd rather not............ I hate that we go to the Smurf Turf so early in the season. I'm just nervous.

Georgia v OK St
BYU v OK
Alabama v VT
Maryland v Cal

You wouldn't want BSU fans to get all excited. Not only is it the one day a week that there's something going on in Idaho, but Gameday's there? The whole town would go apeshit. We want them to be nice, quiet Idahoans.

Oregon at Boise is the best story. A team that has a huge winning streak at home, the other team with a craving for revenge, at least one ranked team, the first BCS program to play on the smurf turf since OSU got burnt in '06, and a chance to preview the best offense in the country .

Plus: Maryland sucks, Georgia lost their press getters, BYU went on a slide last year and doesn't stand a chance against Okie, Alabama v VT could take it because both have been talked about being good next year but why not showcase Lagarette Blount with a special about coming across the country and whaling on people for 17 TDs.

My guess is that if Boise State had won their bowl game, GameDay would be in Boise for our game ... but they lost

Midwestduck I completely agree with you, this is the kind of stage and spotlight that Oregon should play in, and has been waiting for. This is an excellent opportunity for Oregon to show the Nation what we are capable of, and end BSU's home win streak, on the smurf turf! I Think it is going to be a tough game, but we can win it.

And Oklahoma St lost there bowl game, Obviously but still georgia Vs OSU is one of the top competitors, the other being VT vs BAMA, i think we can cancel out OU vs BYU.

But Tray Dub you have to remember Boise St has never had a GameDay there.

I am going to take my first trip to the Smurf Turf, so I hope they do come. I was able to be there early at the Az St game in 07, and it was a blast.

I would like to see Gameday there, I will be at the game, but I would rather see them for the USC and/or Cal games. Who knows maybe the Ducks can get two home games and an away game with the Gameday crew there.

That's what I was thinking...Alabama v VTech at the Georgia Dome. No doubt gameday will be there so they can talk about how great Nick Saban is
