Rolando Jefferson?

According to ESPN Rolando Jefferson has not yet signed a LOI. He lists Oregon as an interest and Oregon has offered.
Does anyone have any info???? Mops...Jhop....
If we miss on Gaines would Jefferson make up for it?

Front-runner: Jefferson was not expected to sign on Wednesday. He's played his recruiting close to the vest, so it's hard to tell which way this one goes.

Extremely slim chance that Jefferson qualifies. If he did we'd have a very strong shot at him, but he's probably JC bound

IF RJ would have qualified or even been significantly closer to qualifying he would have sent in a LOI to Oregon. This kid is UBER-talented!
However it's imminent he is going to Sequioa JC, and that was almost not going to happen from what I hear. He has some real grade issues.
Furthermore in two years assuming this kid gets his academics in order, and no major injuries occur, I'm betting right now, he is the #1 JC recruit in two years. Hopefully Oregon stays with him.

Interesting then that the ESPN story includes him as a big time recruit that has yet to sign. He's not really relevant to the story line if he can't sign because he can't qualify.

Maybe they should do a story "Top Shelf Talent Going the JC Route"
