At least the other coaches have been in the conference for a while. Kiffin is talking smack (embarrassingly wrong smack) before he has even played a game there.
I am "watching out" for UT. I don't know Bryce Brown. Maybe he will go there. I just think it would be foolish of him, given train-wreck Kiffin has been so far.
Kiffin is a fool. A writer/radio host from SEC country was on the Dan Patrick show today & absolutely tore him apart. Comparing him to a baby in a crib jumping up & down, trying to get attention. Kiiffin is in way over his head & without even coaching a practice, has made himself look incredibly stupid. I expect this coaching stop to be another epic fail for baby Kiffin.

I'm not sure there is any Duck fan, who in his/her heart of hearts really doesn't want Bryce Brown. Well, I don't know of any Duck fans that wouldn't want Bryce Brown at THEIR school sans the circus that engulfs him, however, I would never call another Duck fan an idiot due to their opinion.

I think Bryce would set some NCAA records and win a Heisman at Oregon, he would probably win a Heisman no matter where he goes, but not set records. I feel Tennessee now in the picture is similar to Clemson and Boyd unfortunately with the same outcome

I would agree with the clemson/tennessee comparison except for one thing: BB doesn't have a mom who couldn't care less about which was the best fit, she just wanted her baby close to hime, deciding his final choice. Remember Tajh wanted to be a Duck but his mom wouldn't let him. BB has said over & over that the Ducks are the best choice & fit for him. I really believe that he will eventually be a Duck because of that.

In either case, he's going to say that everyone is even to avoid the appearance of leading people on. Program staffers don't mind because its positive publicity whether he is serious or not.
So, I guess that I'm saying that, imo, maybe its similar to Boyd. But, maybe not. Groundbreaking, I know.
In the meantime, I've had fun debating the Volunteers about it. Reminds me of my battle with the Buckeyes over Pryor last year. I've learned a lot about Kiffin and the Vols. Didn't realize that they went 5-7 last year and lost to Wyoming.

Haha, I have been following that thread since I posted it here. You have made great points, but the UT fans are just clowns, like every other SEC team's fans. They talk as if they know about Oregon. They said Oregon "offers nothing" and there would be "no TV exposure" for Bryce Brown, and talk about how big a risk it would be to go there. If you want to talk about exposure, then what about the 5 ESPN/ABC games this year? I just don't understand how they can badmouth Oregon, give the Ducks no credit, and don't respect the fact that this is a program ON THE RISE, not a national powerhouse, when essentially they are the same thing with Kiffin. They are the team that went 5-7 last year, not 10-3, so when they act like their program is still at the top of the SEC, not Bama, Florida, Georgia or LSU, it pisses me off. Which is why I won't bother posting there, UT fans are idiots. Can't wait for 2010 and 2011.

SEC fans still think that they're the only conference that matters. I think they'll get a wake-up call when Oregon and all the other Pac-10 schools start to win a majority of their games against the SEC. The SEC, if they are indeed the top conference, should really schedule their top rated teams against ours and see who comes out on top.

With the recent Kiffin debacle, I wouldn't be surprised if Brown doesn't even visit UT.

The Civil War will be televised on a Thursday Night on ESPN. This whole exposure argument just shows the fact that Oregon is a program on the rise, and is really starting to go national in terms of name recognition. That's why success on the field in 2009 is key, the whole country will finally start to take notice and if Oregon beats USC, then they can't help but notice.

When and Where will he take his final 2 visits?
His 1st of two visits will be to the University of Tennessee. This trip will be the weekend of February 14th. His 2nd visit will be on February 28th and he's not 100% sure at this time where he will visit. The schools who he's considering for this visit are. LSU, Miami and USC. As soon as he decides it will be posted.
Is Bryce considering the CFL?
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Regardless of what was reported on ESPN today. There has NEVER been any communication with anyone from the CFL and the Brown family or Brian Butler. Once again, NO he is not considering the CFL. ESPN has not been in contact with anyone from the Brown family or Brian Butler and they continue to report this without going to the source for the correct information.
