I would have rather seen Boise St in the Holiday Bowl against Nebraska with Washington in the Vegas Bowl against Utah. I know it doesn't work that way though.

I've always been wondering why so many people on this site hate boise so much? Is it just cause their in a weak conference and shouldn't play in a bcs game or is it something else that I don't see?

We are still Mad about the late hits that took our qb out in the 2008 game and another one in that game that had a guy ejected. Luckily it didn't take Ed Dickson out though.

Then we were embarrassed at their place in 2009. We had a new coach in his first game and a whole new o line. Those struggles couldn't be overcome. Then the LGB meltdown.

So basically, we have no good experience with that team to offset the terrible ones.

Having their fans post in the comments section of every Oregon-related column from every Oregon media outlet to notify us whenever an opponent makes a first down didn't help.

Personally, I think for the majority it is sour grapes. I went to Boise and the fact is that the "real" fans (every team has some flamers, even us) were friendly and didn't come off like the few morons we take to resemble their entire fan base.

Oh but they're cheap shot artists Duck07, yea, and we've had our own share of stupid on-field actions that have made me ashamed at times. Seeing as how the majority of their players are the undervalued West Coast kids, I'm all for them doing well because its just "another strong W.C. team"

Oregon punished their players for their incidents. Boise State did not (substantially at least).

I understand the two cheap shots, as I was at that game and was going crazy for the first one not getting called. If people don't like them just cause they beat us both times then I think that's just a lame reason, but everybody has there own opinions for sure.

I don't like Boise State because not only in our game were there late hits but there have been several games where their players appear to be trying to intentionally take out players from the other team. Props to them for being a good team and beating the Ducks twice, I used to be a fan of theirs prior to the last couple of seasons because of their questionable play.
