Slipping.

I missed the outcome of the reviewed play where Toon had a hand under the ball; was the ruled incompletion overturned?

How the hell does a team not bring more than one option. Teams trade out cleats and adjust them all the time. Especially on grass.

Hopefully Oregon gets more time to test out their gameday cleats then TCU did...

And wow if I was a TCU fan I would be pretty pissed at Nike right now...

I agree. Especially with their power running game. Poor clock management to let the clock run down that much at end of half. I hate field goals

Yes, it was overturned - Though I'm not sure how they got enough conclusive evidence to do so. Looked to me like the ball may have come up off the turf.

Loving TCU's offense. Surprised by how effective they've been. Their defense has also been a little better than I expected.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

We play on turf that's been covered, while SoCal has been getting hammered by rain. Doubt our cleats will matter.

Good point.

I hope Greg Townsend ends up at TCU instead of USC.

I wasn't convinced that TCU was a top 5 team but they are pretty impressive today. Great speed on both sides of the ball. Strong LB play.

In the words of Herm Edwards - you play to win the game.

That last drive was to tie it, rather than win it. That's why I would have gone for it on 4th and 1 at the end of the 2nd.

Not the result I was expecting but it's nice to see a non-BCS team win a game like the Rose Bowl. The Big 10 looks real weak in bowl games so far.

Great game by TCU. The Big 10 had a terrible day. In the words of Denny Green "they were who we throught they were"

I was completely schizophrentic on who to root for in this game.

Preserve the tradition of keeping non AQ teams out of the Rose Bowl:Wisc
Love to see Big 10/12 and SEC lose bowl games:TCU
Maybe, maybe TCU looks less attractive to Townsend Jr if they lose:Wisc
A non AQ win is one more nail in the coffin of the BCS.TCU
We're competing with TCU for recruits.Wisc
Even though TCU was favored, they felt like underdogs.TCU
I hate Texas.Wisc

The only thing I knew for sure was that I'm damm glad we're not playing TCU in Glendale. By far the best team I've seen in a bowl this year.
