True Grit was pretty good, and I usually don't like remakes.

True Grit, Toy Story 3, The Fighter, and The King's Speech were all worth watching. I'd go True Grit 8.5/10, Toy Story 3 9/10, The Fighter 8.5/10, and The King's Speech 8/10.

Tron, on the other hand, was pretty bad. I liked the fight scenes, but the acting was underwhelming and the dialogue was laughable.

Tried to talk the wife into True Grit, but got overruled and had to see "How Do You Know."
Makes you laugh in a few spots and Reese Witherspoon is cute. Other than that the story is sort of weird. I guess it was entertaining, but if I could've waited for the $1.50 theater to see it I would've been happier. My wife liked it.

I saw both True Grit and Toy Story 3, both were great movies. I'd give both 9 - 9.5 / 10

I want to see The Fighter, heard good things. And just looked up The King's Speech because I didn't know what it was, looks like an interesting movie with some very positive reviews already. I'm gonna go check it out!

@bellsduck haha that's a bummer. You should still check out true grit, the teenage girl actor in it was ridiculously good too. Overall it was a great film.

True Grit: 8/10
Tron: 6/10
Tangled (for my daughter): 7/10

It is sad that I enjoyed tangled more than I enjoyed tron.

Jonah Hex... The best part of this movie would have worked as a silent.

Black Swan

Good and evil torture a ballerina in her search for perfection and the lead role in Black Swan. Dark, evil, violent, and maybe all in her mind. You will debate the end. A 10 if you can hang with the ballet.

A-Team... 8/10.

Humor and action, with a reasonable tip of the hat to the old TV Series.

Due Date: 7 out of 10

There are definitely about 4-5 parts in the movie that you just laugh out loud at. It's basically Planes, Trains, and Automobiles but a little more annoying.

Watching some older movies that my friends said I missed out on...

Supertroopers 6/10, it's pretty funny but really not my genre.
Starship troopers 8/10, I thought it was awesome. One of the more interesting sci fi movies I've seen.

Zone Troopers... I don't know why, but Tim Thomerson sort of tweaks my funny bone, in a twisted sort of way. 6/10/campy.

It gets a little slow in the middle and the humor trickles down a little. The opening scene is hilarious though. And whoever the black guy (or dark skinned dude, I swear he looked indian at times), was hilarious. His mustache was awesome.

True Grit: Loved it. I like western genre, so I may be biased. Jeff Bridges is so underrated as an actor.

Piranha 3D: Ha - this movie knows what it is and doesn't try to be serious. That's the only reason I could suggest it to anyone. If you like goofy, campy, over the top style movies then this is good. It totally reminds me of a movie I'd see late at night on the SciFi channel but with lots of blood and naked chicks.
