I don't know. It just doesn't seem like he's comfortable in the system or interested in this season, almost like he's regretting coming back here. I hope the latter is not the case and it's more that he's adjusting to to an entirely new system.

Life was a little easier when he had Dunigan in the middle and Porter on the wing.

Truth. Still, duckgrad99's question has merit. He really has fallen off the map, talent around him or not. His defensive energy suggests (to me) that he's interested, but something is clearly not clicking.

We play like we did tonight last Saturday against ASU (who got drilled tonight, at home, by Stanford) and we win the Mac finale. Oh, the inconsistencies.

I didn't watch the game, but on the boxscore it looks like we played better. Loyd and Armstead struggled offensively. But 40% shooting is better, and our 3point shooting looked good.

Damn @ Ross. Just another Oregon high school player making some noise as a freshman at a good school.

I think its hard for the Ducks to play this style of ball, with the lack of players. Trying to press full court is hard enough with good players and depth, but trying with a limited roster and talent is almost impossible. The first thing that goes when your legs get tired is your shooting touch.
They stayed in it pretty well tonight, but Ross came back in and put a fork in us. Ross turned out way better than I thought he would be...

Have you watched them play in the half court though?

Their best chances at getting buckets is causing turnovers..... and no one played over 30 minutes so energy level shouldn't be an issue.

I keep agreeing with you tonight. Spot-on.

Until they get some good shooters, Oregon's best chances are to cause turnovers and get close range shots in transition.
