Go away St Johns..

I remember a month or two ago, he said Oregon and Oklahoma State were his favorites. Obviously things have cooled off and this isn't a big deal, but how the heck did he end up at St. Johns? They weren't even on his list a couple months ago.

Again, not like it matters since we are pursuing other SFs for this class, but still insane what Lavin has done so far.

I doubt Oregon and Altman wanted another SG anyway... At least not in this class.

His team is full of only SGs and SFs so I wouldn't worry too much. He can't take that many more since he's going to need some posts sooner or later. He's only been able to take so many players because he had a lot of players graduate or transfer out before he got there.

That's true, but it's still incredible how many guys they've landed that were also really high on Oregon.

I think that happened since both teams needed some of the same type of guys. It just sucks that so many picked St. John's over Oregon. One thing for sure, they will have some really athletic wings and guards on their team.

Big thing is that St John's picked off a guy that could have been a real difference maker at Oregon this season... Dwayne Polee.

Norvel Pelle and Amir Garrett hurt a bit, as well..

Really doubt that Altman would have taken him, considering that they turned away Spencer Dinwiddie. The addition of Devoe Joseph makes SG maybe the only position that Oregon doesn't need more depth at.

Altman is apparently going hard after Jarion Henry. At this point, he's definitely Oregon's top target.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Looks more and more like they don't see any good posts left, although he could play down low if needed, so are just going after the top athletes left.
