It would be funny if the Ducks could hang a hunski on the Beavitz.

It would be a neat change of pace if we could hang 70 on the Beavs.

We're gonna lose.

That Cunningham guy is really good. Like a beaver could finally make it to the NBA after a decade and ahalf of droughts.

I wish that Oregon could get players like him more often.

This is one of our winnable games and some of you are acting like EK is still here.

Don't see why some of you feel we have no chance. The beevs are incredibly inconsistent. Robinson's zone isn't going to confound Dana like it did Ernie, I'm sure he'll have a great plan for it. Hopefully Catrons able to play too. If he's healthy I really like our chances.

A zone could still confound this team because it doesn't really have any slashers to pick apart the seams in it and doesn't have any shooters that are consistent enough to force them out of it. A good high post game, which Altman is known for, could work if they are hitting those mid-range jumpers.

Beavers defense is good. Our offense is bad. Not a good combination imo.

Yeah they definitely have some better players than years past, I'm just going off of what I remember from the past 2 years. When we pushed the ball up court & got the ball down low we would dominate their zone. Then EK would pull Dunigan & Crittle & let TP chuck threes. I think if Catron & Jacob play well we could do some damage. Both have good mid range games & if they play well along with Nared hitting some shots, I see us winning. It sounds like Catron won't play though so thats all out the window. Still think we have a good shot, the beevs aren't that good.

Looks as if Catron may be ready to go for Saturday's game. We'll see if he can practice for the rest of the week and not have any setbacks.

I reserve the right to be pleasantly surprised, but as I said when OSU was dropping games to Utah Valley and Texas Southern, there's November/December OSU and then there's conference-play OSU. The Beavs are 3-1 at home against Pac schools and have likely already won more conference games then we will all year. They're playing good basketball at Gill and we're not exactly road warriors.
