Neither are great defenders and both are inconsistent shooters. While Teondre's defense is a concern, his rebounding ability and 3point shot make up for that.
Teondre has absolutely no rebounding ability.
Sim and Strowbridge get like 25mpg, they get less rpg than teondre was getting in 16mpg last year. He gets tip dunks, and he does have hops. Maybe not the best rebounder, but better than most other SGs.
I think he's got great hops, I just don't agree that his "rebounding ability makes up for" anything. He's not rebounding worth s*** this year. Like much of his game, I think he's got the potential to do a lot of things but he's a very poor rebounding 2-guard. I don't think he's better than most SGs at hitting the boards at all, not even ours.
Proof is in the statics though. Add up his minutes since he's been at Oregon, add up Strowbridge and Sims, he is averaging more rebounds per minute than either of them. Just saying, it adds a little to have more height at SG.

Anyway, the main reason I want to see him playing more is his shooting. Strowbridge's inconsistency is brutal to watch.

Perhaps, like Malcolm Armstead's game, his rebounding is one of the many things that have gotten lost in the transition from Ernie to Altman, 'cause it just isn't there this year.
