Re: Washington @ Oregon
I never know what to makes of teams coming off horrific losses like what Washington suffered against OSU. Are they going to come out fired up because they want to avoid the sweep? Or are they so down they'll come out flat?
Armstead didn't have a great shooting night, but his midseason rejuvenation carried into this game. He was really active. He's going to need to take Thomas to the hoop Saturday.

I would love to see us beat the Huskies, but like the above poster mentioned, it is kind of a bad thing to get them coming off a bad loss.

Going to miss the Maehl Man

Re: Washington @ Oregon
I think Altman has the guys ready, and up in Seattle we had a real shot until our depth caught up to us. I think we pull this one out.

Re: Washington @ Oregon
I think the team needs JJ to deal with UW's size and depth, but can still pull one off without him if they shoot like they did against WSU.

Just read John Hunt (http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindducksb ... prove.html) pointing out that the Ducks have yet to follow a Thursday win with a Saturday win in league. Would be fabulous to see that streak end tomorrow.

Re: Washington @ Oregon
I'll be happy if we can keep this game within 10. UW is going to be fired up after losing to OSU.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”
