Re: Oregon @ USC
I'd be furious if I were on the USC side and they played that kind of defense.
sheesh

I know the pac-10 is down this season, but Altman and the team have really come a long way. The team looks confident, has balanced scoring and they believe in the system. The rest of the schedule also looks very favorable for the ducks. At this point, the ducks deserve some kind of postseason play. I can't believe they are even in the position for that.

Re: Oregon @ USC
Getting the split was huge for this team as they have a pretty favorable schedule remaining.

Great win - thanks for the link. I love watching the ducks being the more disciplined team.

Re: Oregon @ USC
Gotta give Armstead credit. He played like crap for most of the game, but really stepped up in crunch time.
One of the best points that the announcers made was that Oregon really spread the floor on offense. They're always moving and setting screens; they pass the ball around until they get open looks. What a change from Ernie's "let Porter dribble out the clock and jack up 25 footers" or "rely on Aaron Brooks/Luke Ridnour to play amazing"
Really nice win for Altman and the team. These guys definitely played a lot harder than USC.
You have to wonder what USC fans are thinking. I realize that the basketball program is on probation, but Kevin O'Neill has done a horrendous job thus far. They have a really nice new arena, are located in Los Angeles, and are USC. They expect all of their athletic programs to be great. If their team keeps this up, I don't see O'Neil lasting past year 3.

“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Awesome win. Altman is just tremendous & has this team playing miles above their ability. We play a lot of guys & almost all of them really contribute & outscore the other teams bench. Thats incredible for a team that was down to 8 scholly players shortly before the season.

Great effort by this team, I love the defense that Altman has brought this team. Like others have said the remaining schedule is favorable for us to get around 500 if not at 500.

Altman is an amazing coach and he can recruit, too.......Now wait until he gets all his own recruits here with our great arena and other amenities, academic center, weight room, locker room etc. Weak Pac 10 this year but he has us already in the middle of the conference, 8 scholarships players!!!!!!!!!!
