Still surprised that Brown wasn't selected to the McDonald's AA Game. Sort of a redemption for him.

I haven't really payed attention to the McD AA game in years, but from reports it sounds like if you are going to a big school your going to get in before a kid who may be better but going to a school not named Duke, UK, Kansas ect. It almost sounds like it has become a joke and the Jordan game is overtaking it, much like it seems the UA AA game is overtaking the Army game or at least on par.

The UA game is nothing compared to the Army Bowl. Have you seen the attendance for the UA games? Its pathetic to say the least and its all an ESPN hype machine. Its pales into comparison of the Army game on many levels including the involvement of troops, the community around San Antonio and is an honor to be selected to such game. /rant

Dunigan played in the game before heading out here. IIRC Jabari is on a Jordan travel squad so who knows if Mickey Ds invited him or not.buckmarkduck wrote:I haven't really payed attention to the McD AA game in years, but from reports it sounds like if you are going to a big school your going to get in before a kid who may be better but going to a school not named Duke, UK, Kansas ect.
