I think it's fair to say that Altman got everything out of his players this year... And the team was still awful.....

A large part of that is because we have players on our roster that don't belong in this conference.
Outside of Seiferth, this applies to no one on the team.
How many 6-1 SG's that can't shoot and can't match up defensively are starting in the Pac10? (and this is as bad as the Pac10 has ever been)

You need to watch more cbb if you think our current roster has the talent to compete at the level it takes to be competitive in the Pac10.
You're all over the place here. When you say "a Pac-10 caliber guard", that doesn't imply "starting" guard, like you're saying now. I agree completely he's not a Pac-10-caliber starter, but to imply he wouldn't make a roster at any other Pac-10 school (which was your original argument) is false.

I didn't say we had the talent on the roster to compete in the Pac-10. I said everybody on the roster save Seifert are legitimate Pac-10 players. Our problem is that outside of maybe Catron, and even that might be pushing it, everybody we have are Pac-10 caliber role players. Most teams have better players (a few all-conference players) to compliment their pedestrian talent. We just have pedestrian talent. Your phrasing was off.
