Well I dont think this game will be close, I think Weber has the potential and skill to win this game, but we havent played very well in out of conf road games, If this game was being played in Ogden I would say we win, but since its being played in Oregon I say Ducks win 72-59

Man, both teams are shooting badly. Oregon has yet to hit a three and Weber State is still in it due to their 6 threes.

down 28-26 at half. 0-11 for 3. Can't find a stream but I think this team will manage to hit a few shots from outside in the 2nd half.

68-59 Ducks win. Joevan 24 and 12 with 12-13FTs (I imagine we got the ball inside to the big fella quite a few times)
EJ had 16 and we went 3-4 from 3 in the 2nd.

Sounds like the next game is Monday at home against Duquense. Another very winnable game.

An undersized shooting guard who NBA scouts hope will develop into a PG...plays against weak competition...turns the ball over too much...field goal % has hovered around 43%.

NBAdraft.net projects him as going late in the second round in the 2012 draft.

Sounds like a future hall of famer..

maybe because only one of those have played/been drafted since I was 5 years old.
We could have lost last night by 30 and the CBI still would have been worth the money just for this exchange.

Wow, my score prediction was almost spot on, thats the closest I've been all year. Well it was a fairly entertaining game, Weber had thier chances, but on the road you cant miss 6 freethrows when you only get 11. I still think had this game been in Ogden that Weber would have won, but it was great to watch K-Bull and Scottie B hit some threes last night, and have a great game vs a quality opponent on the road. I think with Lillard returning next year we are going to be very good.

Oregon has a very athletic team, that big guy I nicknamed MeCartron was a beast, and I knew even after Oregon went in down and 0-11 for 3's that it wouldnt last, Hopefully these two teams will meet again, when Lillard is back and Healthy.

Good luck next week against Duquesne, they beat Weber's conf mate Montana last night, but Im rooting for you guys the rest of the way, so that I can say that Weber lost to the eventual CBI champions.

I went to the game on Wednesday. All I can say is.... wow what a great arena!!
JK But the game really wasn't that good, Weber State is a decent second division
team that really kept the game close with their three point shooting. Ducks totally
failed to show up in the first half and completely relied on Catron and Singler.
Second half Altman seemed to gotten across to them the need for concentration and
they picked up their game.

A few other notes:

1. Jay-R, really, really? Won't get you any closer to Beyonce. Points for trying though!!

2. Garrett Sim (much like Paris Hilton) does he serve a purpose?? Is he the
illegitimate brother of Travis Knight??

3. Knight Arena has really carried over that comfy hometown atmosphere from Mac Court.
Of course without the fear that if I pull on the rafters the roof will fall in. Reminds me of a
smaller, less stained Memorial Coliseum during the Far West Classics. Good stuff.

I think Matt and Memorial Coliseum are the same size.
