Friday, Altman confirmed what had been expected, that forward Jeremy Jacob won't play any more this season and will undergo surgery this coming week on his right knee. Jacob underwent arthroscopic surgery last October, but the knee continued to bother him throughout the season and he hasn't played since Feb. 12 against USC, missing the Ducks' last nine games.

Re: JJ to have another knee surgery
He probably tried to come back too soon this season, which probably didn't allow for his preseason surgery to fully heal. Let's hope this surgery and recovery turns out better this time around.

Yep that's my thoughts as well. It's a good time for surgery though, and like you said here's hoping for a speedy recovery.greenyellow wrote:He probably tried to come back too soon this season, which probably didn't allow for his preseason surgery to fully heal.
