Obviously getting Brown and Gaines in March would mean huge things for this program. With Brown producing in his first year in 2010 at RB.
How many times have we seen top notch recruits, 'just missed on' due to family influence because of location?
So recent memories:
Tommy Streeter and Tahj Boyd.
Hopefully Brown is allowed to come to Oregon.

Ludwig just left KSU so I'm not sure if Bryce would be high on them (i know he loves Snyder, but still).
It'd really stink if he doesn't come to Oregon because of his parents..

Interesting Jhop.jhopduck wrote:I agree Mops, I think Bryce does and has wanted Oregon and his parents are exhausting all options to make this easier for them. Such as visits to UT and LSU are close to Miami still allowing them to move to MIami or Texas. USC is not thus they are eliminated.
Kstate allows them to stay home and watch him play close to home.
Oregon unfortunately is a thorn in the side, but ultimately Bryce gets to pick, or so his dad claims. So we shall see.
Side note: Rivals indicates a death in the Brown family has recently happened. I think prayers and thoughts are in order for the family.

How many times have kids talked their parents into getting the car that they wanted after having to jump through the hurdles of "at least taking a look at the other options?"karlhungis wrote:Mops wrote:I think this is turning into a classic recruit wants one school parent wants the other. Bryce wants Oregon. Parents dont.
How many times have the recruits won that battle?
I'm hoping that's what this is. Brown going through the motions for his parents. But, being a Duck at heart, all along.

I found yet another article about Brown while surfing this morning. I apologize if it has already been posted.

This kid's future is in chaos. I hope the NCAA investigation causes the parents to get rid of Butler.
