Man, so pathetic for this Oregon squad to not only accept an invitation to play in this lowly tournament, but to advance to the finals as well, sic.
=======
I wonder who has the advantage in game 1. DA knows every player on this Creighton team but they also know what sort of sets and defenses he likes to run.

After seeing how Singler, for one has matured over the last couple weeks, I find it hard to see the negative... Orego even seems likely to turn a slight profit out of this thing, financially.

While it is march mildness (had to steal scheoders term), there really isn't any negative for playing in it. The team needs to get better, and what's the best way to do that, play more games. Simple enough. Now you won't catch me bragging to anyone about winning the CBI, but advancing this far helps out oregon in the long run. More experience with Dana's sets and something that is great is this team gets some good tournament experience that hopefully carries over into the NCAA's in the future. Also, Joe was one of my favorite players on the last elite 8 team he deserves to win something for his dedication to the program.

Holy Carp... The Ducks would normally have the lead, if the Blue Jays were shooting like normal mortals.

Catron had a rough first half against Boise, too, then started eating people after the break. Gotta get him to start waking up earlier.
Opposing teams shooting 60% overall and 55% from deep is no way to go through life.
