I like the following set of quotes, comparing the actions of Miles to Kelly, and the idiot columnist not realizing or not caring that he's judging Miles from a different standard.
What do you think of this coach's quote?
"There can't be a rush to judgment. When a decision is made, and if he's convicted, we'll make a decision."
That wasn't Miles. That was Kelly, after LaMichael James was jailed — not merely implicated, but jailed — on domestic violence charges.
After pleading guilty to a misdemeanor harassment charge, James was suspended for one game. The whole thing took much longer to play out than the timetable Canzano has given Miles to act.
If Kelly can wait for an investigation and for formal charges, why can't Miles?
It’s not that this is about LSU that perturbs me, though; rather, it’s that Canzano disgraces the profession when he shoots first (from the hip) and asks questions later, if at all. All of what appears above is public record, easily searchable online and elsewhere.
Canzano doesn’t want to tell you the whole story, because that’s not as edgy. He should be ashamed.

Just got the news. Huge shot-out to the LSU fan base. However, don't let it destroy your enthusiasm for this game and/or the season. LSU recruits well...very well. In Fact I have read many places where LSU fans thought he should get the start. Also, at least this happened in time for Les Miles and the coaching staff to prepare game plan around that QB, instead of it happening just before the game.
No opinion on JJ actions. I was not there and I hate people who speculate! I will say this...its a good thing my life was not put under the microscope of the press!! They wouldn't have had enough time to write as many headlines as I would have gotten!!...
See, the thing is.....nobody in this state likes Canzano. And I mean nobody. Even our rodent neighbors 40 miles north on 99W. That is one of the only things both Duck and rodent fan bases agree on. Well that, we share a dislike for our neighbors in Seattle (though we hate the Huskies more than they do and they hate us more than the Huskies), and a mutual agreement to not talk about the 1983 Civil War..... That's about it.
That video proves nothing except that Lowery guy is a big D Bag.
More than anything this looks like a PI play by the lawyer.
Ah…that is the difference between a lawyer’s mind and a laymen’s mind. You see a douche in the video…I do too, although I also see a JJ that has a white shirt and blue jeans on, the attacker was wearing all black. So either JJ is the guy in the bar, or the guy doing the kicking…but he can’t be both.
This could be a brick in the wall to that goes towards building a successful defense. Find a couple of witnesses (maybe the girl he is hugging) to say that is him in the video and BAM there is reasonable doubt that he is the one in the video taken of the man in black and double BAM it discredits the douche and his new chick’s testimony.
Or it could come out that wasn’t him in the white T and there is some blood or something on his shoes and he is found guilty. Whatever.

Oh, I’m sorry, is my posting keeping you from chatting about Missouri State?
It’s not a conspiracy theory to point out evidence that may prove a young man innocent by the way…a conspiracy theory would be me saying that Lee’s family paid Lowrey to start the altercation so his uncle in the police department could railroad JJ clearing the road for Lee to finally start.
That latter party was a complete fabrication of course.
Did I hear that JJ's lawyer is attempting to have him reinstated? If so, when? And won't that mess with team unity a little. Especially in Lee's mind?
He tried, even used that new video as evidence to persuade Les. The problem is, at least how I understand it, the situation is out of Les’ hands. Apparently, there is a rule in the student handout that says you can’t represent the university if you have felony charges. That is what I’m told so forgive me if I’m proven wrong later.
I think that even without the rule the best thing to do is wait to the proceedings are over, it is not far to anyone involved to have the distraction of a trial while playing this season. Of course it will be a distraction anyway, but at least the guy isn’t standing next to you in the locker room.
Do we know how long between this video and the fight? Im not trying to throw JJ under the bus, but he could have put on a sweatshirt between the time he hugged the girl and Lowery getting kicked. Looked like he was wearing dark pants... weird weird weird situation...

Suppose to be minutes before…btw…no one wears a sweat shirt in August down here. I don’t care what time of night it is.
