If he is reinstated how would you rate his chances of becoming the starter again? Hasn't Lee been performing pretty well?

I just don’t see how Les could sit Lee. He has been an excellent game manager, he has a 6-1 TD/INT ratio, and with him behind center the LSU offense has been averaging 350 a game.

In addition to that, JJ has not worked out with the team in almost 6 weeks, and this could go on for another week or two.

I see either one of two things happening, either JJ getting a redshirt or sitting out the rest of this season and applying for a special exception to get one more year at another school.

P.S. No way JJ starts at this point, the thought of it is laughable without Lee suffering an injury or setback.

Bud, it's best to ignore Quack-12 as about half the time he isn't coherent.

Keep us posted on what happens with JJ.

He’s been better lately…sticking to short post with a lot smilies…it has really helped his posting. Much better than when I first came along.

^^ and this would be him digressing back to the bad posting style

It's conference time Quack, JJ has missed half of the season (well almost) at this point and the offense has been productive. The best thing for JJ is to get a redshirt and prepare for next year.

Grand Jury verdict is in

They came back no true bill on the 2nd degree charge (which was the felony) and true bill on the simple battery for JJ.

What that means for JJ is that the grand jury has decided there is enough evidence to go to court on the simple battery charge. Looks like he is going to be tied up in court for a while longer.

ETA: Actually it might be assault not battery...big difference in Louisiana.

That's a big difference anywhere, my friend.
