That's a big difference anywhere, my friend.

Well it is simple battery. Worst case scenario is that he will have a fine in the lower thousands and 6 months jail time if found guilty.

CLM is supposed to address Jefferson’s future tonight.

Scanning the ESPN article it appears Jefferson will play this year as the backup.

Miles stressed that Jarrett Lee, who has started in LSU's first four games -- all double-digit victories -- will remain the starter for the foreseeable future. However, the coach added that he envisions Jefferson seeing action in most of the remaining games because of his ability to scramble and run the option.

"Just like a year ago when Lee played in every game, there would be that opportunity that Jordan Jefferson would play in every game as well," Miles said. "We're better at quarterback (with Jefferson back on the roster) than we've ever been and I think that's an advantage to us as we go forward throughout the rest of the schedule."

Heard that last night…it rather shocked me, but then when I started to think about it…it makes sense.

If I was the coach, I would red shirt and have him as my starter next year. CLM already burned one red shirt by playing a defensive end late in the WVU game last week, and after the game when asked about it he said that he wanted to play him now because he seems like a player that can contribute to our team early (or something like that).

CLM sees this as a national championship year and he is making it all hands on deck. If you make the team stronger, you are playing. JJ makes the team stronger, be it as a back up our a change of pace guy, we are stronger with him on the squad. Even if it means that now other teams have to prepare for both guys.

This. All hands on deck.

You guys are in a perfect position for a run to the NCG... If you have to burn every red shirt on your squad to get there I say do it... ;)

Good for him. Of course people (haters) will still say he curb stomped a marine. It's the same people who say LMJ strangled his girlfriend. But hopefully justice is/will be served!
