Will they really be that worried if their 4 season ticket holders are mad?
No, but the gay sheep are mad and that has Dee worried.

OSU is not going to a bowl this year. No way.
If they can't beat UCLA, I don't think they'll win too many others. While they may improve as the season progresses now that they got some players back, it's going to be a long season again. I'm not sure if OSU can afford to fire Riley since they're already running a bit of a deficit.
Lot's of TV money on the horizon thanks to Larry Scott.
That's the thing I'd think would allow them to do it, but I'd expect them to use the money to upgrade its facilities and pay off past debts. Getting a new FB coach may not exactly be a priority for them but if they have another bowlless season, fans are going to be clamoring for one.
I would find it highly amusing if Bellotti took the job.
In the next two years coaching jobs will open up at WSU, Arizona and UCLA. All better than OS. If..and that's a big if Belotti want to come back it would be UCLA. They draw 60-70,000 for a below average team and they have SoCal and LA for recruiting. It would be a great job for him. I think Neiheisel has a year and over a $1M left on his contract and UC has no money to squander on new coaches unless boosters step in the cover the buy out.
The counter point is a comment Belotti made to my wife about his knee replacements ( Double ). It appear everything is Ok but he said he had limitations in range of motion. Basically kneeling and squating are compromised if you have a limited range. I just had a knee replacement and I am working my butt off in physical therapy ( torture ) to avoid the associated lost in range of motion. I can already see there will be limitations and my results are way beyond optimal.
If I had to bet I would guess he won't come back to coaching. Now what about Rich Brooks to UCLA or UA?
Bellotti always had a liking for UCLA for some reason. He flirted with the UCLA job in 2006 I think? I think he's been waiting around for that job since he left Oregon and would certainly take it if offered. I think he only wants to be in the PAC if he comes back and prolly only a handful of PAC teams would he accept even.

IIRC he also has mentioned something about not enjoying the recruiting part of coaching, if he went to UCLA he wouldnt have to leave LA (to recruit).

Still can't see when they'll actually get their first win. Arizona has been struggling but can really put up some points, as seen by their performance today against USC.

True, but it's not like he would have an easy sell...he's competing against SC. I'd be surprised if he came back to be honest, but I've been wrong before.

There is a meltdown over on OLive forum (which I only visit rarely) in BeaverLand and some mention even trying to bring Bellotti in to right the ship. Believe he would take the job in order to "stick" it to UO.
Probably a Duck fan planting a joke but I got a kick out of it.
