Did he try and transfer here? Did Kelly turn him down or was he all Cal the whole time after leaving Buffalo?

I just saw an article where Allen said that he de-commit from Bama and said he was just going wherever Maynard went and thus why they both ended up at Cal.

Actually, most Cal fans i have seen online are already sick of Maynard. Which is understandable, dude is terrible.

I agree Maynard is terrible....I was mainly asking because Allen is ridiculous but I was wondering if Kelly passed on a sure fire 5* WR because he didn't want to waste a scholarship on an awful QB
