And chef, am I remembering right that you got a call or two right earlier this year on recruiting? You don't post a lot, but I'm pretty sure you're a reliable source...

well Bob Ricket posted something on his blog saying it was down to Oregon and one other school, but IMO unless it comes from Bryce then people are just guessing.

latest is he signed an LOI while in Tenn for Tenn. Like I said just the rumor mill churning away.

He's been wearing orange for the last few days so I'm real skeptical when someone says it's down to Oregon and K St especially since it really wouldn't benefit him on the nationally stage as much as Tennessee and Oregon.
K St would be home but that's it... their not going anywhere on a big stage.

I have a hard time believing that Brown would go to KSU. Their program was left in shambles by Snyder when he left initially and then by Prince. I don't think Snyder can turn them back into winners. His program was so heavily dependent on JC players and you just can't build that way without hitting the HS recruits hard. Snyder always seemed to be in for the quick fill type of players and not building up players through 4-5 years of coaching. Brown would be making a mistake by going there.

If it's down to 2, I think that it is us and Tennessee. I hope he doesn't pick Tennessee because I already can't stand Kiffin, who seems to put his foot in his mouth every time he talks. Kiffin thinks that he is already on an elite level as a coach since he coached at USC and the NFL. To me, he hasn't accomplished anything as a head coach.

I think Tennessee is going to be involved in this. Everything I read makes it sound like Tennessee is very much in it. What a nightmare it would be if Brown went to KSU and then the re-recruitment of Chris Harper ended with him going there to

it make more sense if its down to Oregon and UT. I don't see KState is down next to Oregon, so I hope he's ours. If not, im exciting for Ethan Grant and one more big time rb in 2010
